Gatlinburg Menu
Maddi Mae’s Café & Creamery got its start as The Village Café & Creamery, Gatlinburg in 2006. Over the years The Village Café & Creamery developed a reputation for quality and service. Located in The Village Shoppes, its easy to get noticed. The Village offers a “quiet” space from the hustle and bustle on the main strip. Walking into the village is like a step back in time with an old world feel. As you make your way into the Village you pass the Candy Kitchen into the open courtyard with a massive water fountain to rest and make a wish. A side note, the change is donated to Appalachian Bear Rescue. There are 27 shops with seating throughout as you enjoy your ice cream or coffee. Also the fountain transforms at night with fire “floating” on top of the fountain. Making for great pictures day or night.
In July of 2021, The Village Café & Creamery was purchased by Maddi Mae’s Café located in Athens, Tennessee (home of Mayfield Dairy). Maddi Mae’s Café has been a staple in Athens since 2004 offering sandwiches and ice cream. Maddi Mae’s Café is locally famous for their Chicken Salad and fresh cooked inhouse meats. In September of 2021, The Village Café & Creamery became Maddi Mae’s Café & Creamery. More is coming to increase our offering and add to a small piece of a great vacation.
Maddi Mae’s Café & Creamery is in process of changing and adding items to its menu. Looking to add snacks and quick serve foods to better serve The Village and overall Gatlinburg. Our goal is to add value to our customers, The Village, and our community. In 2021, Maddi Mae’s Café & Creamery partnered with Appalachian Bear Rescue. A portion of all sales go to the Appalachian Bear Rescue helping orphaned cubs get back to the wild. Appalachian Bear Rescue is a non-contact rehabilitation center that allows the cubs to grow with no human contact which allows the bears to return to the wild. Bears are a big part of the Smoky Mountains and we believe in preserving and helping them thrive in The Great Smoky Mountains and beyond.
